- Click on the microSD card and files appear on the right. Locate the file MMCSTORE and then choose Copy.
- Click directly on your desktop, then click Paste. This will move the MMCSTORE file on the desktop, so you have edit access.
- Right-Click on the MMCSTORE then click Open With. Open the file with Notepad.
- Read the text for the password. It will be in plain text.
- Remove the SD card from the computer and insert it into the device, which it used as a warehouse. Turn on the camera. When he asks for a password, enter it.

if the memory card is locked and you connect it via a card reader to the computer then the computer will not read it because it is encrypted, it will never open on any pc whenever it is locked, unless you unlock it…. then the pc will read it.

yes he is true i have tried it so hard its not possible to acess in system… a memory card which is encrypted… but its possible to hack by using a hardware tool named as usb unlocker.. it takes 20 to 30 minutes to unlock.

sir,when we click on start button it shows two options.1: properties nd 2nd:open windows explorer.. nd when we open windows explorer it doesnt shown any sd card option then how can it be done…..

i cant access my micro sd card b’coz i cant remember the password…is there any way i can get access back??i did follow the instructions given in the past post here but since im using nokia c3-00, so there aint any file manager on the mobile system…and since the card is encrypted the PC cant read the micoSD if i use my card reader…i dont have any backup on the card so is there any other way to retrieve the password without formatting the card???please……

The memory card is not detected in any kind of pc(except rajnikant’s) untill it is unlocked .Simple way is to buy new one and forget the old one.

ayman is right… windows explorer will even hang up if you try to open it… even the disk management utility will take forever to open if your card is locked.. the only way is to open it with your phone to get the mmcstore file..

If I insert card into card reader and then plug it in my system then system will show removable disk and I dont understand where should i see the file you described.

No one can actualy unlock a locked memory.the tricks are fack..so the best 3ng to be hang away iz to threw the sd card into the dustbin.thanx
When i try to insert card reader into my computer it do not tell anything…
it is not possible to unlock any memory card anyhow no trick no method works on unlocking even the manufacturer can not do this so just dont waste time send it to dustbin and bring a new one its just cost $ 4 for a 2 gb card friends and i think that much every one can efford who have a 100$ phone

I am trying to remove the password from my memory card. I found the file which holds the password but i got a problem.
It shows 12345 followed by a Square character. Is this some encryption or some font error.
I tried a lot many characters but all in vain.
